That all changed about ten years ago when he had a change of heart. He sold off his entire mercantile empire and donated his earnings to the Church of the Creator, becoming a member of the clergy.
Since then, he has risen through the ranks of the church quickly, becoming one of the High Priests.
His experience with void ships and interworld travel has made him a perfect choice for leading some of the church's missionary efforts within the Inner Circle.
