One of the Player Characters.
Like the others, Alal woke up aboard the Toybox with no memory of who he was. Alal has an automaton companion that he calls "Zeke".
Previously, Alal may have worked for/with Vinka as a member of her armies. (Source: Vinka's people in Episode 107)
Alal currently hosts an instance of the shadow which he claims to only be able to control some of the time. (Source: the Shadow in Episodes 108 and 109.
