ReplyDeleteFortunately, very few people I've talked to have died. Although, Hope and I were recently watching an episode of Doctor Who called "Tooth and Claw." In it, at one point, one of the characters has an item they believe is cursed:
DeleteCharacter:Perhaps its legend is now coming true. It is said that whoever owns it must surely die.
The Doctor: Well that’s true of anything it you wait long enough.
Sort of reminded me of Thompson's confirmation bias with his own curse. Which is not for me to say that it is or is not legitimate.
