Vendernovem is a world far beyond the foreseeable future of our own. Many great civilizations rose to immense heights, just to fall down again. New civilizations were built on the ruins of the old, making use of the gifts of the ancestors-only to come to their own ends.
Humanity now grows to establish new civilization-with new nations, cities, and civilization rising out of the dust and building upon the wonders of the ancients. Some understand the miracles of the past better than others, while there are some who see it akin to magic.
Nanites buzz throughout the air, infusing many devices and people with great nanotech powers. Those who have any control over the nanotech are able to work new wonders with the bits of tech throughout the world. Many devices, large and small, can be found throughout the world that are infused with nanotech and each have their own unique effects which can be activated by even the least proficient with nanotech.
