Mutants

Mutants are humans who have changed over time, either through the natural forces of evolution or through outside unnatural factors that manipulate their genetic makeup. Some mutations simply change how a person looks, but others can change the physical build of a person. This can give a person unique skills or abilities, but it can also cause unique disadvantages and handicaps not faced by healthy humans.

There is an organization of mutants known as the League of Chimera which sees mutants as superior to humans.
