Book of Destiny World Guide: The Charred Land

As of the start of the Book of Destiny

World Status: Sparkling Band

The Charred Land is the least inhabited and most mysterious of the Sparkling Band worlds. While it has the size and stability of the other Sparking Band worlds, the Charred Land does not have the same level of civilization or connection that the others do. The world of the Charred Land is scarred and blackened desert, with little to no vegetation or natural life.

The ruler of the Charred Land,

the Everlasting Empress, rules from the only known structure of the world: the Timeless Tower. While she has numerous guards and servants, an exact (or anywhere near exact) population figure is unknown. It is also unknown how, in the barren expanse of the world, the populace is able to provide for their basic food and water needs. The Everlasting Empress has a strict policy of isolation for the Charred Land, and she keeps information about the world from leaving with an iron fist.

Despite that there is a lack of connection or news from the Charred Land, the other Sparkling Band worlds have a large number of theories, myths, and legends regarding the world. It is said that the ruined state of the world came as a result of a great battle. Some believe it was the site of one of the major clashes against dragonkind, while others have other theories. It is believed that many great and powerful weapons can be found in the Charred Land, but that the Everlasting Empress keeps them locked away within the Timeless Tower. It is theorized that the reason for her isolation is in order to prevent these items from falling into the wrong hands.
